Winifred Whittemore Teele was born in Westborough, Massachusetts, in 1878. She attended Radcliffe in 1897-1898 and was a non-graduate of the class of 1901. In 1900 she married Arthur Page Teele. The couple lived in the Boston area and had two children. Teele became active in garden club work and flower arranging in 1931.
